DR250/ TS185 Q's

Hello, i have just picked up some spare parts for my TS185. Included was the front off a DR250 (triple clamps, forks, wheel, and brakes). My problem is they were low on oil and i dont know how much i should put in them. I dont know what year (80's ish ??) theyre from but i do know that they are about 2mm wider then'81 TS forks and has a disc brake and a single caliper and are able to be fitted straight in the TS neck.

Another thing is does anyone have the torque settings for the head bolts on a TS or a reasonable guess? i have pulled the stud out of the cylinder so ill have to heli coil it.

And the last lil querry is, does changing the amount the reeds open affect power greatly?? Does increasing the gap from the stopper to the cage impove bottom end?? Is the pay off a reduction in top end?? how can i get the most top end possible??

Thanks in advance for any advice thrown my way!!

Dan
