DR-Z400E Breather tubes...

Apologies if this has been covered before.

I've just got a used DR-Z400E. The bike has 5 or 6 breather tubes hanging down below frame level and I'm concerned about river crossings etc.

I would guess that some or all of these tubes should be re-routed.

But I have no idea what any of them do, or which ones to re-route and the Clymer service manual on back order in the UK.

Tips greatly appreciated....

Thx
Mike.

I did this on mine but can't at the moment find the info that I used. (it was a few years ago)

Basically, if it's a breather it needs routing up and under the seat near the airbox. If it's a drain, it can stay low down. I have forded water that is up to the fuel-tap without any problem.

I'll post here if I manage to find find the exact info.
