dr 600r no spark why ?

hello .i am new to this forum,i have just bought an old [89] dr 600r that had been stood for some time,i stripped and cleaned the carb and tank ,and hey presto it ran,so i bought new plugs ,filter and oil and replaced them, put the bike back together and now it will not run.the problem seems to be that there is no spark from either of the plugs ,put old ones back in just to check and no spark .a bit stumped as to why .any ideas anyone thanks chris

You've probably dislodged something while doing the service. Work your way back from the spark plug, checking all the wiring.

First thing to check is the fuses though and that all connectors are tight.

If you havn't got a multimetre, get one now
