77 TS185 - It LIVES !
I finally (after 9 months) bought the engine gaskets & seals & right bearing, then put it back together. Fired it up 2 days ago & then rode it yesterday. It runs pretty good now, much better than before, especially since I rewound the ignition pulser coils & repaired coils, which was causing the bike to give a major shock when trying to turn it off. It was also going into rpm run-away due to these coils shorting to the rotor.
But now I need to find a place that sells larger main jets and a carb kit to replace all the o-rings. I live in the States & need some sources. I plan on taking it on a trail ride with my friend who rides a KDX200 next month. After that, I'll re-install all the lighting, wiring & the rest of the parts to make it street legal & may actually ride it to work some! TIA
