1200s Bandit on the road - engine knock?
Hi on the way to Beijing, with travel companion in Romania on 1200s bandit engine developed a intermittent knock at about 2,000rpm. Any ideas what it's likely to be or dealers/help available. Thanks

Likely out of balance carbs if well cared for bike; if not well cared for, could be a main bearing.
Does it happen under load in high gear or at high idle - bearing tend to knock under load, clutch baskets at idle. Sean |

Theres a thing in the CDI that alters the ignition timing in the low gears. Does the knock occur in all gears? Perhaps a busted wire going to the gear position sensor if not. Or else perhaps poor fuel quality.
