Yamaha Shops in Southern Africa

Hi all
Im in Zambia now and looking at my chain and sprockets, the don't look as throught they are going to make my extimated 8'000km to Cape Town. My bike is a TT600RE does anyone know if these were released in southen africa, and where there is a dealer who stocks parts for Yamaha's in -Botswana-Nambia-South Africa? Or is there are set from an XT...that will fit the job.
Thanks George

Yourbest bet Im afraid is going to be Windhoek. As far as I know there is nobody in Zambia who sell for bigger bikes. As most of Sub Sahara Africa the Yamaha agents only sell small 2 strokes and big bike parts are extremely rare. If you are desperate you may find a small auto spares shop in North Namibia who will order a chain from Windhoek for you... but you'll have to wait a few days.

There are many Yamaha dealers in SA, you could probably also DHL spares up that way.

In Stock

Hi George,

the TT600R/S/E were not imported to RSA, so the dealers will have no documentation for spares.

I stock front sprockets, DID X-Ring chains, the rear sprocket I would have to order how many teeth do you want?

I am based in Port Shepstone in Kwa-Zulu Natal 110 km south of Durban.

I could ship inside South Afrika.

regards

Thomas
