Spare Parts Available in Africa? if so Where?

Im in Turkey and about to head south into Africa travelling down the east coast after travelling all the way from Australia. Im on a DR350 and travelling extremely light weight - i dont really want to have to carry all these parts with me.

What I want to know is, if it is easy to get spare parts like, chain, sprockets, cam chain, tires 18/21 inch and break pads... etc

I dont expect amazing bike shops along the way, but if you know they ride a 250cc bike, then I should be able to get parts like that... please can you list down countries I shouldn't be worried about for part.

As far as I know the DR350 is not imported to Africa. If you can use parts from the odd small Suzuki you might find something but I wouldn't expect it. You can find low-quality chains but I doubt you will find sprockets. It is possible to weld the outer part of a new sprocket to your inner part of the sprocket but I wouldn't recommend it other then for emergency.
According to a few people on this board a healthy set of chain and sprockets will get you down to Cape Town

You can get cheap Chinese tires in most bigger cities but the usual brands are very difficult to get (there is one expensive place in Nairobi and I think there is a mx-shop in Malawi).

It's a lot easier in Namibia and South-Africa.
