Visa for Mali in Ghana or Burkina Faso possible?
High,
is there a possibility to get a visa in Ghana or Burkina Faso for Mali? Thanx for your help! Tobi+Kati voglwuid-reisen |

Hi Tobi,
Mali visa is a straightforward one to get. You can pick it up in Ouaga, or at the border coming from Burkina Faso. Seem to recall it was about 15,000CFA. I didn't bother getting ahead of time, the border guard just hand wrote over the entry stamp date and amount of the fee. |

got mine a month ago at the embassy in ouagadagou did it on the spot think it was 40 000 cfa.
note get your burkina visa in ghana not the border its crazy expensive at the border like 200 bucks expensive! they have some weird group visa thing where you pay the same amount for upto 5 people. |

The couple of times I got a visa on arrival in Mali--once at the airport, once at the Guinea border--I got a temporary visa which needed to be renewed in Bamako or Mopti. If you don't renew, they get very gleeful and you need to negotiate to leave the country (how would I know this?). Renewing in Bamako took a couple of hours; I've heard it's much easier in Mopti.
Visa in advance doesn't need renewing. Hope that's helpful. Mark |

you can get them from belgium visa service it will save time on the road if you have visa before you start your trip that is if time is important to you Maurice |
