We've had a code update on the HUBB that should fix any issues with the new right hand column. If the HUBB still "looks funny" please force a refresh to get the latest code update. (Hold down the shift OR ctrl key, and click the refresh button on your browser, OR Ctrl R, OR on Macs, Command R). If you still have a problem please post it here.

Tsavo East to Malindi shortcut?
Hi
Anyone know anything about the condition of the Tsavo East to Malindi shortcut? Is it as bad as the Iringa - Dodoma road? Any info on it's "driveability would be appreciated. ------------------ Jeremy "Enzo" Elphick-Pooley http://www.elphick-pooley.co.uk |

As I understand it, the road is passable at least to a 4wd such as a defender, although not in particularly good condition; probably there are matatus making the journey too
![]() the main concern is safety; a relative of mine who is a tourist policeman in Malindi seems to spend most of his working hours escorting groups to Tsavo, along that road; it's definitely considered unsafe. I've sent an Email to the address in your profile, hope it's current, with his mobile number for more details HTH cheers + happy travels Mark

Hi
Been in touch with a Saffer who works at Ocean Sport in Watamu. He drives it regularly and reports that is good, will have to double check the safety factor. Many thanks for the response and for the contact details. Stay well, ------------------ Jeremy "Enzo" Elphick-Pooley http://www.elphick-pooley.co.uk |
