Sierra Leone in November 2010
 

Hiya all,
I and two of my mates are planning to go to Sierra Leone for 10 days in November. We would like very much to travel on bikes around the country.
I have heard that there were no bike renting companies at the moment but that it could be done after a bit of browsing around Freetown. Looking for 125cc-250cc bikes. Any tips or contacts? We'll look into the route we want to take very soon but any advices on that more than welcome. Places to see in 10 days? Any other info/links on Sierra Leone would be more than welcome Cheers

Went through Sierra Leone a few weeks ago, can only recommend it, friendly people and pretty countryside.

I saw a lot of Yamaha DT 125 and Honda XL 125, I'm sure you'll be able to rent or buy a couple.

There are nice beaches south of Freetown, but by far the most beautiful is Bureh Beach off the road to Kent.
