Road from Tete (Moz) to Katete (Zam) via Cassacatiza
Hi guys,
Just started my latest expedition (on four wheels this time) in Southern Africa - great to be on the road again here!  I'm heading east from Cape Town via Lesotho to Mozambique, then northwards through Moz towards the Zambia border at Cassacatiza. Can anyone tell me the condition of the road from Tete (Moz) to Katete (Zam)? On the map it looks to be a sealed road but the region looks pretty remote and I'm travelling solo, so any reassurance that the route's in good nick would be much appreciated! Also, I'm planning on getting a visa for Zambia at the Cassacatiza border post - has anyone done this recently and can tell me how much it costs? Thanks, guys! Jeanie
