Riots in Malawi
Apparently there have been major riots in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu.
Explainer: Why are people demonstrating in Malawi? | Global development | guardian.co.uk Anyone on the ground there at the moment? Especially Lilongwe, I's really like to know what's going on as I have friends there.

Was in Lilongwe for the past couple of days. City centre normal. No overt police/army presence. Fuel situation unchanged. Word on the street is that 17 Aug is the next big day.
