one-way flight

I need a one-way flight back to Europe at the end of september but I don't want to commit to a particular place yet...
How far in advance do I need to book?

I was thinking either from Benin with Point Afrique or Banjul with Gambia Experience - both costing around 375 Euros.

Ideally I won't confirm until about a month beforehand - but when will all the seats sell out?

Obviously the companies tell you they sell out very quickly

I used the Gambia Experience at the beginning of April and got a flight to London with TWO days notice. I would think that a week to ten days notice would just about guarantee a seat.

Just beware that it is a very uncomfortable flight - the seating is very squashed and you have to pay for everything, even water.

I shipped my Land Rover from Banjuil to Cape Town on 6th April - I;m still waiting for the container because of a severe shortage of ships being available because of the Iraq situation.

Please all be aware of this problem.
