Omo Valley-Turkana August 2013
Morning All,
We shall be heading on this route in August this year (all going according to plan!) and would welcome company... especially from anyone who knows the way.
We're a welsh/aussie couple in a toyota, but don't hold any of that against us.

Omo Vally
How did an Aussie get caught up with a 'two coat' ? (Welsh....tighter than 2 coats of paint).
Ride thru the Omo Valley 2 years ago...you will love it. Take lots of Bir notes for the photos tho & there will be plenty.
Lake Turkana is very very very Overrated !!!!
Enjoy !!
Cheers
Paul

We did this route (south to north) a couple of months ago. You can find a detailed description & route information on our web site. Great route &, in my humble opinion, Lake Turkana is pretty special. T

See you in Cairo
Hi,
Yes keep in touch or see you in Cairo if you pass through before we leave in mid July.
I see in your website that you must have bumped into Ule in his Audi with his recently married daughter and son in law, who's names I can't remember. This is despite them travelling with us through the Sudan, Egypt and staying with us in Cairo.
Stay in touch.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
