Motorcycle for Sale in Ethiopia
We are a couple of the US who have traveled extensively throughout the world by motorcycle. We are currently selling a 2012 TVS 180cc Apache motorcycle in Ethiopia
. It was purchased new 1 month ago in Addis Ababa
for 47,000 birr ($2,600 US). All the import taxes, registration, and insurance for the first year have been paid. The bike gets between 37-40km per liter. There is a custom rack on the bike for attaching luggage or backpacks. We have two helmets from the United States
and would be willing to sell these too. We will be traveling in northern Ethiopia for the next month and would like to resell the bike in the next 3-4 weeks. We would like to get 32,000 birr ($1750) obo. The bike has been properly maintained. If you are interested or have questions let us know. You can email us directly at email@example.com
My husband and I have been touring Ethiopia with the bike for the last month and it has been fantastic! Once outside of Addis there is minimal traffic on the roads. There are more cattle and goats than cars! Ethiopia is undergoing a major revolution in their roadways and many roads are perfect asphalt that are gloriously underutilized. Even the roads that haven't been paved are usually remarkably good. The travel flexibility the bike gives you is incredible: you are not restricted to bus schedules (or crazy bus drivers), can explore at whim, and if anything catches your interest you can easily stop to enjoy it rather than have it be a fleeting image as you speed by in a bus. After traveling by motorcycle you won't want to go back to public transportation!
