motorbike tests in SA
 

Hi all,
Does anyone know whether its possible for a foreigner (UK) to take a motorbike test in SA? I failed my first attempt here and although I do expect to pass next time I don't want to have to delay my trip further if I should fail again. Cheers for any help,

Hi there,

Yes you can do your license here in SA. A friend of mine got her license and she is from Germany.

The only drawback is that we have switched to credit card licenses a few years back. The deadline to have a credit card license is beginning of march. A lot of people are scurrying to get their updated licenses and this is causing an unbelievable backlog.

A friend went to register for a learners test 2 weeks ago and the earliest appointment that he could get was 26 March

maybe if you already have a learners license it could go a bit faster.
