money exchange at Kenya\Tanzania

Anyone out there aware of a mandatory currency exchange at the border of Kenya and Tanzania? If so, how much in each direction? I will be flying into Nairobi and being bussed into Tanzania for two weeks then back to Nairobi. GS will still be in hibernation in Utah. Would there be a requirement going back into Kenya? Will be crossing at Namanga. Are there any issues or suggestions for travel in this area.

We didn't have to do a mandatory exchange when we went Kenya Tanzania from Nairobi - Arusha - forget the name of the crossing point. Very fast, very efficient, very easy compared with elsewhere in Africa.
