Is Ivory Coast visa readily available?
 

I'm in Rabat and was considering going to the embassy here in the morning.

I was originally planning on going in Dakar, but after reading a few reviews that basically took a roundabout path of telling the reader that the city is a disaster, I'd rather avoid it completely. So the question is will I find Ivory Coast embassies in Banjul or Conakry?

I may stop by the embassy in the morning to see how long it takes, but I'm itching to get on the road south..

We got our visas in dakar in October 2012 but we needed hotel reservations and it took 24 hours however they were introducing biometric visas which could take 3 days
good luck its a great place and ignore what people say to put you off. wsh we had stayed longer

Hey. Easily done in Nouakchott, Mauritania, no hotel reservation required, just photos and cash ( around 100 Euros, December 2012 ), easy going, done in a day. Met travellers who got it easily in Conakry or Monrovia too. Ivory Coast is great and very safe.
