Festival au Desert
Maybe you already know that festival of Toureg music end culture is in Essakane, 65 km north from Timbuktu. Festival in Desert is three days festival from 8 – 11. of January. … A lot of musician all over the West Africa. Just to mansion some: Salif Keita, Ali Farka Toure, Habib Koite ….. and (believe!) we are currently in Bamako hoping to drive to the festival, does anyone know if it is possible to purchase entry tickets at the gate??????
