Faleme River Crossing Mali To Senegal
 

Hi Guys,
Does anyone have any reliable info where to cross the Faleme river safely in the dry season from Mali to Senegal?

Not sure if it's exactly the river you are talking about, but in December 2010 we crossed Saraya (Senegal) - Kenieba (Mali). We had to load the bikes into a pirogue, but there was a big bridge being built (with Japanese investment) right where we crossed. It looked almost finished back then and we were told it would open August 2011.

No idea how things stand now.
