Nigerian consulate in Bamako has moved address

It is no longer on the South side of the bridge down from The Sleeping Camel,

It is now located a stones throw from the Ivory Coast consulate

Around;
Latitude: 12.632704 | Longitude: -8.027825

White/Green building

Process was fill out self profile, wait for phone call to see if you fit the bill.
I just went back the next day without waiting, gave passport and told to pick up the following day in the afternoon

Issued visa for Australian passport 42,000CFA

Nigeria Visa 3 month in Bamako

German Passport, we got the visa three month singe entry for CFA 40.000.
Friendly, next day pickup. They let you fill out a form and tell you to wait for their call next day. After yes or no decision it would take another three days. We told the guy we needed the visa tomorrow and showed up next day at 11:00. After 1 hour wait, they gave us the visa.

We asked for 1 year multiple. They said it is not available there anymore.
Visa is valid from the date of issue. We could not get one starting at a later date, which limits travel time until Nigeria, happy though to have gotten it anyhow.

Utmost politeness and decent clothing seems to be the key for success.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
