Hello all,
I have started to think about going from tanza via Uganda and northern Dr Congo over Congo Brazza to Cameroun ... by pushbike. (end 2007 start 2008 finance permitting) Some might say don't try but my mind is pretty made up so leave the warnings for the usual suspects ;o) I am looking for information (or ways to get some information) from some who have been in the Congo region recenty. What am I looking for : * general info on the state of the area (rebels still very active? - would a lone pushbike be unfeasible) * practicable routes (which do still exist - which disappeared - which are new) * places 2 b avoided at any price * contacts * ... any information is welcome ! Thanks Geowiz |
