Sunugal Restaurant- Camp
Hi all.
You can try camp in SuNuGal Restaurant. It is a restaurant close to the International Airport of Dakar that has a private beach and let overlanders camp in their parking area (there is a guard during the night) They also let you use their public WC and showers. It costs around 4000 CFA pp. There is also a hotel in this name. You can try if you like. City is not that close but you can visit the embassies by your bike instead of getting a taxi. Actually taxi is quite cheap but try to bargain.

As you already mentioned, it is in Dakar that you can get easily your visa for Ghana. The consulate was quite polite and open to dicussion with us.
The Ghanaian Embassy is very close to SuNuGal Restaraunt.. about 5 minutes by bike. You can even walk there. It's a short distance. In general, African embassies in Dakar are widespread in the city. That would be more wise to use your bike instead of taxi. Good Luck!
