Crossing Mozambique on a motorbike.
 

In a couple of months time my girlfriend and I are riding from Lilongwe to Cape Town so we'd be grateful for any updates.

We've travelled on the road through Namwera, Lichinga, Marrupa, Montepuez and then on to Pemba before but that was 3 years ago.

This time we're heading to Ilha de Mocambique and we're looking at entering Mozambique further south.

I'm sure elephants rule out a Liwonde crossing so that possibly leaves us with Mulanje.

Has anyone got any info on road conditions, border crossing suggestions or anything at all that might help us.
