i dont have the GPS , but i did find there were 2 che alice....they had slightly diffrent spellings......one near the beach and had a swiming pool and pizza and the other half a km further away from the city with more overlanders ( i think this is the offical one...but it was almost empty of overlanders....) there is parking for trucks at both....i did visit the offical one...it was nice enoth but did not seem that specail....we were more than happy at the other one...they had a place in the back to camp on the sand ( but with a scure wall)

You're right. And the overlanders' Chez Alice is o.k. and has a very relaxed sort of atmosphere (but then again, what hasn't in Africa), reasonable and cheap food, and live music tonight!
