Carnet and visas to West Africa
Hi All!
Can you summarize which counties (Morocco, Mauritania, Mali, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Gambia) require CDP (my car is 3 years old)? Which visas should I get beforehand and which on border? How much time Morocco-Gambia trip will take (in case of driving only)? What is the mostly interesting route (my car is not off-road)? Thanks.

travelled tthrought algeria niger burkina
mali mauritanie marocco whithout cdp it was in 2003. think its the same thing today. you can get visa on the border but the best is to get it in the ambassadies. there is a mauritanian ambassady in rabat(marocco)and you can get visa for senegal in nouackchot. good trip rom Quote:
