Car boot sale in Bamako!
 

Due to a sneaky sleeping policeman in Sengal our engine has given up on us and we are now forced to sell (for wonderful price tho) our landy in Bamako. We intended to drive to Ghana and hence have an boot full of overlanding/ camping stuff which we are partly selling partly donating. If anyone is around in the next 2 weeks and looking for things such as tables, chairs, a fridge, pillows, sleeping bags, pans, a cooker, a drying rack (definitly handy) or car parts (petrol engine) or even guide books on Africa (we will with a pain in our hearts give Sahara Overland away as its too heavy) and reading books (English books hard to find in West-Africa) please give us a shout!

I can think of a lot of ways to wreck an engine but where does the policeman fit in ?

Lotjamie, after al your hassles with the landy you managed to reach Bamako and further, are you still going for Ghana (by public transport) or back to UK?
