I don`t even know exactly - if there is a route available..

Google Maps say no, Tracks4Africa says no, OSM say no. But that don't tell us much - because there seems most roads to be missing. Bing sees there many possible ways.

Our "plan B" will be to drive through Gabon to Congo, the Visa we should be able to get on the border, far i know.

Does someone knows something about the pink marked area?

A good place to visit for planning
one
two

I have not been there-
but a bit of web research brings up :
*that there could be a link (N9) between Sangmelima and Ouesso
*that there could be a road (labelled N2) between Ouesso and Kinshasa running mostly Nth/Sth

Paper maps from Stanfords are probably a good bet.

Hi Bertrand

Thank you for your investigation, and the links.

When Google/Bing Maps and Satellite Imagery brings a mixed picture - then it could too be a planned route.

Specially Google-Maps was in my experience a good source - usually.

I got the information in another community - that there should be some dirttracks :thumbup1:

I will do some more research!

I found (someone point me to) a Blog of someone, who cross this area nearly the same way we plan it:

http://www.nomad-adventure.com/categ...o-brazzaville/

it is an excellent read!

So there should be a way to cross the area. We dont have exact entry points, but we will find a way.
