Cameroon Insurance
 

I'm in Nigeria at present and I will be heading south to Cameroon in a day or so, I currently have a Carte Brune insurance that covered me from Senegal to Nigeria, anyone got any info on getting insurace for a bike at the Nigeria/Cameroon border? The Carte Brune insurance is valid until end of June can I take a chance with that? what's the story with insurance for Gabon/Congo/DRC ? Any info would be welcome - Mike

in Cameroon you can get the centro-african equivalent to your West-african "carte brune"

If I remember ok Its call the "carte Rouse" -pink- , and It entitles you to drive Chad, Cameroon , Gabon , Congo-BRazza , Congo-DRC and -just- Cabinda

cheap as hell . You can get it everywhere . AS ussual , you can find waypoints for insurance offices in most cities in Waypoint-DataBase
