Burundi/Ruanda to Angola - Via DRC
 

Hello,
It is my first post here. I already traveled in Africa (6 months) by public transport, but will part of an expedition late this year. We will be on two Toyota 4x4
All seams fine, regular south and East Africa, but there is one part that seams very difficult (impossible?).
Has anyone done the route from Burundi or Ruanda to Angola?

Uvira- Kasongo- Kabinda -Kananga- Tshikapa- Angola

Is it possible? How many days/weeks?

If there is any report on preavius trips, let me know.

That is an interesting your suggested. I can't recall many people heading that way and certainly in the 1990's majority of overlanders were heading North-West from East Africa, rather than South-West as your route suggested.

Be sure to read Radio Baobab's trip report from Zambia North through DRC. Not many vehicles have been through DRC in years so the route can be quite tricky.
