Best place to ship out of Senegal?
 

Any opinions about the best place to ship my scooter and myself out of Senegal? By plane or ship?

My friend adviced against Dakar because of all the hassle. Any comments? I plan to enter Dakar anyways and want to ship out some place not too far away.

How about Banjul in Gambia? How far away is it from Dakar (distance and time)? I'm looking into going in July. How would it be riding to Banjul during this time?

Oh yeah, I don't speek french... Just started yesterday.

I know a lot of people who have flown their bikes back with Lufthansa Cargo from Dakar, they seem to be very good. You can also try shipping it in a container as a pert package with Delmas or Maersk or try sending it back with companies who do household removals.

Another option is to leave it in the Gambia and pick it up later.
