Anyone recommend a bike mechnic in Zambia/Zimbabwe?
 

I'm going to need my new chain and sprockets fitted by the time I get to Zambia or latest Zimbabwe, so would love a recommendation of someone I should use. The bike is a fairly straightforward Suzuki DRZ400.

You could try contacting Nick at Foleys in Livingstone. He's a Brit who's been out there a while. Now he's a Land Rover mechanic who works on a lot of overland vehicles but he may well have a local recommendation for a bike mechanic.

Thanks v much itchyfeet! I've now been able to speak to the guys at Mabuya Camp in Lilongwe, who have an onsite mechanic who appararently can help - phew! But if for any reason the mechanic can't manage it, at least I now have another suggestion - much appreciated! :-)
