Accra to Conakry
 

Hey all, I'm new to this. My name is Claire, I just graduated from college and I'm headed to Ghana in a few weeks!! I have work to do in Accra starting in August, but before that I want to travel overland to Guinee. Last year I went overland from South Africa to Tanzania, which was amazing, and I'm psyched to see West Africa. How are you going between the two? The northern route or southern? With your own vehicle or not?

Guinea is incredible but keep an eye on the news as it's been a bit unstable since late January ......

Bear in mind it's the rainy season in Guinea, travel can be really difficult, few taxis, buses etc. Avoid the south east esp along the ivorian border. great country though.
