2 weeks in Ethiopia
 

Dear All,

This year I did 8month trip across South America on a KLR650.

For Christmas, I plan to go to Ethiopia for 2-3 week trip.

The question is, what is an option to travel Ethiopia by motorbike. I have hear of some tour companies, but they are increadibly expensive.

Has someone use the Addis Abeba airport recently? Cost of shipping are very high for sure, and what is even more important, if I have 2 or 3 weeks only, I do not want to hassle for long with customs.

Or maybe you are or you know someone who lives in Ethiopia and has a bike he could just lend me?

Or maybe you have another idea that could work for me?

I would appreciate any hint.

Did you talk to the custom about your concern regarding the bike... Better talk to them, then they will go the instruction on how to carry the bike with in your Ethiopia tour... Plan it now before Christmas to avoid hassle...
