2 motorbikes just drove to Namibia at the west-c

Dear friends

Julia & Walter rode with their BMWs through Africa along the west-coast. They arrived in Namibia just a few days ago!!
"At the end the travelling with our motorcycles through Africa was easier than expected!!"

VISA (for germans):
Mauretanien: In Germany, Costs € 20
At the border, Costs € 50
Senegal: No Visum
Gambia: No Visum
Guinea-Bissau: In Banjul / Gambia, Costs € 4 und 2 pictures, Time: 10 minutes
Guinea: In Dakar / Senegal:, Costs € 30 and 2 pictures; Time: 24 hours
Mali: In Rabat / Marokko, Costs € 25 and 2-4 pictures, Time: 30 minutes
Burkina Faso: In Bamako / Mali, Costs € 20 and 2 pictures, Time: 2 hours
Ghana: In Bamako / Mali, Costs € 18 and 4 pictures, Time: 24 hours
Togo: An der Grenze Costs € 10
Benin: 48 Stundenvisum Costs € 15
Nigeria: In Bamako / Mali, Costs € 50 and 2 pictures, Time: 24 hours
Gabun: In Lome / Togo, Costs ca. € 75 and ? pictures, Time: 24 hours
D. R. Kongo: In Lome / Togo, Costs € 60 and ? pictures, Time 24 hours
Kamerun: In Calabar / Nigeria, Costs € 45,
Julia & Walter arrived at 09:00 at the embassy, had to write down in a letter why they want to travel to Cameroon, then they bought a “stamp” for 500 CFA, when the embassador saw these things, they had to pay at 13:00 and at 15:30 they have got there Visas about.
Alternativ: Cameroon / Border: In Garoua / Cameroon at Immigration, Costs 80 € and ? pictures; Time: ?
Kongo: In Yaounde / Cameroon, Costs € 75
Angola: In Pointe Noire / Gabon 30 days: Costs € 90;
10 days Transit: Costs 38 € und 2 pictures, Time: A few hours
