Good Camping Place, Bobo Dioulassou, Burkina Faso

We found a wonderful place in Bobo Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, with lots of space for camping.

Run by Solo (Ivorian/Burkinabe) and Dianne (Dutch), it is basically their house, but with huge grounds for camping. We got our overland truck in there with 14 tents!

They also have 4 rooms available. Free wifi, small bar, and a restaurant.

It is on the main road to Ouaga, about 1km before the roundabout, on the right hand side, easy to miss, you need to look out for it.

Highly Recommended.

Wish i had GPS I would give the co-ordinates!

Ok, so drive into Bobo on the main road from Ouagadougou.

Approx 1km before the main roundabout in town, Espace Diasso/Foret Diasso is on the right hand side. There is a small sign but you need to look out for it.

They are on Facebook as FORET DIASSO.

Please say hi to Dianne and Solo, and tell them David from Overlanding West Africa recommended the place, they are a great couple.

Hi,

I was there in February and again now in April.
I drove back up from Lome to sell my car in Bobo since i heard prices where better there. Solo helped me find some contacts and i managed to sell the car for a good price
so if your looking to sell your car in west Africa i can recommended staying at Foret Diasso!

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
