Travel clinics in London area
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good travel clinic, to get some prescription drugs for my medical kit? I just phoned up MASTA, and the only thing they give out is Immodium & 4 tablets of ciproflaxicine, for a daylight-robbery-price of £14. My GP won't prescribe anything (since I'm not ill at the moment). I am private insured, but BUPA member services wasn't too helpful either. (Sorry if this has been asked before – but the search didn't reveal anything.) Bjorn

these might point you in the right direction
hospital for tropical diseases travel clinic : 020 7388 9600 - capper st. london wc1
liverpool school of tropical medicine travel clinic : 0151 708 9393 liverpool l3 5qa (obviously not london but they might know stuff) these probably wont give out prescription stuff, but they might know who might ??.. Also i have been told to try university or college health centres.

I've used the 1st contact clinic on New Oxford Street - very centrally located, reasonably priced and relatively easy to get appointments.
