Survey on common musculoskeletal injuries experienced during adventure motorcycling
 

Hi guys

on my blog I am collecting some qualitative data about the most common musculoskeletal injuries experienced during adventure motorcycling.

Given that there are many experienced adventure bike riders on this forum, I would be grateful if you share your experience with me, and leave a comment to this post indicating:

1) Nature of the injury you have experienced during adventure motorcycling (e.g. chronic back pain, inflamed wrist, back injury lifting the bike, muscle strain, sprained ankle, broken collarbone)

2) How long it lasted (hours, days, months)

3) How it has affected your trip (return home, stopped for few days, pain during riding, etc.).

Based on this initial survey, I will develop with my Sports Therapy colleagues a proper scientific survey and programs to prevent some of the preventable injuries common in adventure bike riders.
