prescription drugs

Truly sorry if this is a oft repeated topic, but I was unable to find a thread, so, please bear with me.
A trip is being panned thru the south americas starting from san diego and I need pills to stay above ground, does anyone feel that travelling with them (and documentation) should be a problem, and what about sourcing prescribed drugs along the way in major centers, thx.

and while I'm at it thanks to all involved for putting the Nakusp gathering together, great weekend!

Medicine in Mexico

It depends on what medicine it is. Here in Mexico you can get almost everything, except anti-biotics, over the counter. If you can tell me what you are taking I can check availabilty here and prices. The drug may have a different name here so you may not feel comfortable taking it.
When I liveb in brazil I used to take a year'ssupply of medicine with me but I only took 1 pill a day then. those were the days!
If you come through Mex City we will be happy to put you up and show you around.

It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be! As you are in San Diego I think the easiest thing for you to do is cross the border with your meds or the package it comes in and ask at Drug Stores.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
