Where to rent a bike in Thailand?

I will be travelleing to Thailand in September and want to rent a 4-stroke Enduro in acceptable condition in northern Thailand. Does anyone know any good adresses?
I already rented bikes all over the world so I know that "good condition" is never available, but the bike should be safe to ride. :-)
Any tips?
Thanks, Silke

Hi Silke: Did you rent a bike in northern Thailand as planned? I'm thinking of doing the same in February. Anything to recommend?

Thanks, Scott

I did this a few years ago. I hired a bike in Chiang Mai, a 4-stroke 250cc Honda dual purpose, from a bike dealer. I did quite a few unsealed roads. Had no problems at all. Easy actually. Did the so called Mae Hong Son loop and its surrounds. Spectacular scenary, coupled with great food and cheap accommodation. One of my favourite all time bike destinations.
