Warning 90 Days in Thailand..Thats your lot
 

We are wintering in Thailand at the moment and just went to the border for or 3rd , 30 day stamp, where we were informed "Last One". So factor this in .
Youve been warned!!!

30 Days?
 

A mate of mine "lives" there. He gets a 90 day visa and so every 90 days he takes a short holiday in another country and then gets another 90 days... no probs. He's been there about 4 years now.

He says you can get a yearly visa if you deposit £12,000 in a Thai bank.

You are allowed 90 days in 6 months if you have the normal 30 day entry visa with a visa run every 30 days. I got caught out with the new rules too, overspent my time and couldn't go back into Thailand. I went to the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and was told to bugger off (politely of course). Must be a lot of unhappy expats in Thailand.

Yep, it's true. Many Expats who have been living here for years are having to reconsider. I am here on a work permit and have a Thai wife. Without these I would be looking at 3 months on, 3 months off, so to speak!
