vietnam and myanmar with motorcycle.
sure its possible in india and thailand.
for the others i don't know....

go to the J-Hoppers Guesthouse in Kyoto, it is a Backpacker Hostel. Ask to see the manager, his name is Aki. He rode a bike (also a 250 cc) from Paris to India and to South East Asia in 2000 and 2001.

Aki is a very kind man, he helped us on our journey in Japan. He will be happy to tell you all about going thru the countries you have listed.

I just received an email (9 Feb 06) from the Vietnam embassy that any machine larger than 175cc is not allowed unless it is part of motorcycle riding group and is the leader or support bike for the group.

ah, should have said it in the other post. Myanmar doesn't allow any land crossing at all if the letter from their embassy is correct. They also said that all tourist visas are for 7 days only, no extensions and before visa is issued a roundtrip ticket via approved airline must be presented.
