Just a quick Q if I may...

Does anyone know if it is possible to 'detour' the Vietnamese bike size problem by crating her up in Delhi and flying in with nice Carnet? (Gets around my not being about to cross Myanmar problem to...)

I doubt it. I have read somewhere (can't remember where) of folks who had their bikes impounded on arrival.
