Vespa/Lambretta hire in Delhi
 

Hi all,

I'm off to India at the end of March. I was hoping to hire a geared Vespa/Lambretta to ride round the Golden Triangle but the guy I've been dealing with (he normally buys and sells scooters) says he can't get insurance for me as the bike won't be registered in my name.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can arrange mandatory insurance?

If not does anyone know where I can rent a Vespa/Lambretta?

P.S I do have a full bike licence but ride scooters regularly, I did a trip through Vietnam on one in 2009, and would prefer not to get bike to grips with a big bike in a strange country.
