Just if anyone's interested buying tyres with reasonable prices in BKK, call this guy - speaks good english:

I got a pair of GS-size tubeless Conti TKC80 for 8900 baht (approx 270 USD) delivered to my hotel free of charge.

I didn't bother to hassle around in BKK traffic to go visit different MC shops who mostly have limited stock and not much offroad capable tyres for big trailies.

Can you give us a little more detail, like name of shop, address and name of the person you were dealing with? Does he stock any other types/brands?

I got this number from my Thai biking friends who did a lot of calling for me around Bangkok motorcycle dealers and private distributors till they got me this number for affordable tyres. I don't speak Thai language, so it really was a god-sent case for me.

It's a reliable source because I've just come back to Bangkok and I'm writing this because just today he delivered me another set of TKC80 with the same price to my hotel :thumbup1:

So do don't hesitate to call him if you need tyres in BKK.
