Red face

Hi Mike
I would still like to store the bike here, but I'm having a bit of trouble finding some where safe to leave it, i tried one guy but he could only keep it on his path on the main road.
Shipping back was just a consideration at the moment, i want to ship to Japan in the new year around the end of April so i don't really want to take it home but i may have to, I'm now running out of time.
cheers Pete (skip)

Just a thought but BMW here in Scotland stored my bike for nearly a year for £5/week, maybe one of the bigger dealers might have storage facilities. I'm sure someone must be able to help you.

Hello Skip,

you are welcome to leave your bike at my house in KL. I have a covered area at the side of my house so it will be out of the rain. It will get a little dusty but will be safe. Drop me a mail to: deanmlewis at hotmail dot com
I'm in singapore now but will be back in KL at the weekend.

rgds,
Dean

Hi Dean
Thanks for the offer of storage but i have decided to ship my bike back to the UK for the winter, i will be off to Japan and then Russia in the spring, and as the cost of shipping back to the UK is only $400 so I'm going to do that.
Thanks again Skip

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
