Shipping a car from SE Asia to Russia
 

Hi all

No doubt you have seen the other post about shipping from India to Thailand or Russia. Assuming we ship the car to Thailand, we will then want to get the car from SE Asia up to Russia. It could be from Thailand, or it could be from Vietnam, Cambodia or even Malaysia.

Again, does anyone know the costs, procedures etc for doing any of this?

Nippon Express can fly you from BKK to Japan, then you can catch a ferry to Vlad. Flying to Korea is another option, there is a ferry from Pusan that woul land you in russia about 4hrs drive fom Vlad.

Surely flying a car from BKK to Japan would be cost -prohibitive? What I was getting at was whether there was any kind of sea shipping ie container service from SE Asia to Russia - we want to do this because it's also cost-prohibitive to drive through China.
