Emergency shipping from Bangkok to England

Due to unforeseen circumstances I need to leave Thailand and head home to England. At the very least I need to get rid of my bike, possibly as quickly as I can. I can get the bike to anywhere in SE Asia, Cambodia, Laos of that's cheaper or easier in some way but it has to go soon. I used Eagle Exports to get her here from Nepal and they were great but does anyone know of a company that can help me sort out my return journey?

Cheers guys.

We just got to Kuala Lumpur and are planning to ship our bike in the beginning of next week to Amsterdam (and take a straight flight to Amsterdam). From there we'll get to Lithuania somehow.
We are planning to take the bike with us on the plane and go directly to Malaysian Airlines (got quotation of 1250 euro for my V-strom which is not too bad, it doesn't include a crate).
Tomorrow I'll be going to the airport to get some information as I will try to ship the motorbike without using a crate. The plan is to drive it onto a pallet (maybe I'll make it myself) strap the bike and wrap it up with plastic. Let's see if it will work out. I could share our experience or you might join or something.
Hope you will manage your shipment. Try to call Thai Airlines, maybe that will work.

If you ship back to UK make sure you fill out forms C179B (for the bike) and C3 (for your luggage in the panniers) as early as possible. The airline will charge you big storage fees so any delays will cost you directly. You need to submit these forms via a customs broker, preferably one who knows what to do as most only handle imported goods etc rather than a bike coming home. I used HWFS after being messed around by others who didn't have a clue though there are others of course.

The earlier you start this stuff and have arrangements in place the better off you will be.

Hi
I live in N/E Thailand on the border with Laos, if you are stuck you can leave your bike here. to be crated then can be transported to Bangkok by the local courier company only take 1 day. You can cross friendship bridge 2 from Laos i live 1km away.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
