Recent Iranian visa for american/US passport motorcyclist?
I'm having quite a difficult time acquiring visa for Iran.
With the current state of Iran-US relation, travelers from the US have to book all tours, accomodations, and transportation before applying for visas. A guide is required for the whole duration of stay. This last requirement is particularly difficult since we're on a motorcycle. The last thing I want to do is to hire a car and a driver just to enable the guide to accompany us. Has any overlander gone through this process in recent time? Please share your experience. TIA.
