phone call to Thailand

Trying to call Thailand and all I have is a 10 digit number I got from the net. I have tried calling with Skype where it puts the country code of 66 in front of the 10 digit number but can not seem to get the call. I also tried with a land line but got no luck there either. Can anyone tell me how to call Thailand from the USA?

Landlines:

Bangkok telephone numbers are 7 digits, prefix 2 digits - BKK prefix is 02
Bangkok to Bangkok: 1234567
Domestic to Bangkok: 02 1234567
Intl to Bangkok: +66 2 1234567

all other cities have 6 digits, prefix 3 digits - Chiang Mei prefix is 053
Bangkok to Chiang Mei: 053 123456
Intl to Chiang Mei: +66 53 123456

Mobile:

Mobile phone nos are 7 digits, prefix 3 digits
Domestic landline to mobile: 081 1234567
Intl to mobile: +66 81 1234567

Be aware that there are riots going on at the moment, which also could influence telecommunication.

Happy calling

Andy

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
